Inspired by…Beatrix Potter | Part 2 | Garden-party day look

For the second look in this series inspired by Beatrix Potter and The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies (an inspiration suggested by the lovely roxina), I thought we could step things up a bit and try a look that I’d like to imagine wearing at a sunny garden tea-party, or wearing while I skip off to a lovely picnic in a sunny meadow on an early-spring day with a basket over my arm, like our bunny friend here…

Cherries in the Snow | Part 1 | Satiny evening look

Hi everyone. By the time you read this, the Northeast U.S. will be blanketed in a fresh layer of snow. All this frosty white has gotten the phrase “cherries in the snow” stuck in my head. To try to work it back out again, I composed a few looks from my stash inspired by that idea, but with an emphasis on face-flattery and real-life wearability, instead of fantasy frost (fun as that is!).
