The Beauty Reflects Podcast! | Your feedback and a look ahead

I thought I would try something a little different and prepare a podcast for you today! It is such a privilege and a delight to develop and publish content for you. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable, and it influences the choices I make and the work I do in this space enormously.

For those of you who are interested in how that feedback loop is working, this podcast explains and illustrates that process. It also previews some of the inspirations and looks that I’m thinking about and working on!

In the spirit of feedback, I’d love to hear your feedback on this podcast format and on the inspirations that I’m planning to explore. If you spot something that inspires you that you’d like to share, I’d love to hear about it! If you try out a color scheme that I suggest and you’d like to share with me how it went, I’d love to hear that, too! You can reach me by leaving a comment in the space below, finding me on the makeup board at Makeupalley (username “bunikins”), or emailing me at bunikinsbeauty[at]gmail.

Thanks so much for visiting, and I wish you all the best for the week ahead.

Also wanted to share: my very best friend from childhood wore only Cherries in the Snow! Your post featuring this gorgeous lipstick totally brought back to mind the days when we were sneaking makeup as young teens. We were Catholic school kids and makeup was verboten. Anyway, thank you for that.

Thank YOU for this cool podcast feature. Wishing you much success and gratification with your lovely blog.

Thank you for sharing that memory! I’ve heard from several people who have such vivid, fond memories of Cherries in the Snow lipstick and the women who wore it. The post dedicated to that lippy has been trending strongly upward in the last couple of days, so if I can carve out the time, I’m hoping to try that look on my face for everyone.

Thank you so much for your feedback, encouragement, and kind wishes. I’m so looking forward to working on more content for the site, including more podcasts. Knowing that you’ve enjoyed reading and listening on Beauty Reflects makes it all so very worthwhile! 🙂
